Mmm...there is nothing quite like the smell of my mom's scones when they are baking! She made these yummy treats each morning at the tea room. Soft and moist with just the right amount of sweetness...simply tealightful! I loved seeing guests enjoy her scones as they would put a dollop of Devon cream on top or spread a bit o' lemon curd on these delicious treats.
