Ann-Margaret's Green Tea

Green tea comes from the leaves and leaf buds of the Camellia sinensis plant. When these leaves are processed they do not undergo fermentation since this process involves steaming the delicate leaves and buds. Due to the steaming process, these teas are rich in catechin polyphenols which are antioxidants. Antioxidants are known cancer inhibitors so many people not only enjoy the flavor of green teas but also like the possible health benefits they possess. Research indicates that green teas may aid in keeping the heart healthy, as well as, lower cholesterol levels, and fight other medical conditions. So, let's sip a cup of green tea in hopes of living a healthier lifestyle!
