Ann-Margaret's Herb and Fruit Tea

herbrectuse1.jpg

Herbal teas are actually herbal infusions or tisanes, which are not "true teas".  However, these infusions are typically referred to as "teas" since they are enjoyed in much the same way.  "True teas" come from the leaves and buds of the Camellia sinensis plant, while herbal teas are created from many plant parts such as the leaves, flowers, and spices, which usually come from seeds and fruits.  The process that these teas undergo is similar to that of green teas, as they are not fermented.  These loose leaf teas are delicious hot or iced and are naturally caffeine free.  Full of vitamins, including vitamin C, they will delight tea drinkers of all ages!
